filming quebec in chicago?

yesterday morning (after a quick dip in the lake - i love living three blocks from the beach) a friend and i walked over to my train stop to meet some other friends for lunch. as i stepped up on the platform i noticed something unusual: a large group of well-dressed white people. as a young white woman i am the minority in my neighborhood, so i usually notice when there is another person around who looks like me. when there's a big group, though, it usually means they are either lost or volunteering at the baptist church, trying to reform the drug addicts and prostitutes who live on my block.
anyway, we got up to the platform and i noticed a train stopped on the other tracks and people were walking around with cameras and lights and such.
hmmm, i thought, they must be shooting a movie. (we asked an assistant, who said it was called "quebec.") well, that's cool, but i hope it doesn't delay my train. i'm hungry. we watched for a few minutes as they set up the shot, filmed a take, and called cut. the extras all relaxed and walked around, and as the crowd parted i saw a familiar face, but not one i had ever seen in real life.
"that's john c. reilly!" i exclaimed as i nudged my friend.
"who's that?" she asked.
"the guy from chicago!"
"oh him! i know who that is."
"i need to get a picture of this!" i pulled my camera out of my bag just as the train rolled up and i tried to quickly get a picture of mr. reilly. here's what i got: you see where that person's hand is sticking up in the middle? that was his hairdresser. you can kind of see his hair right next to it. but i swear it was him! i promise! i was 15 feet away from john c. reilly!
don't you believe me?
